Cocktails

We recommend placing bottles on your bar cart or shelf until you are ready to serve. Our cocktails will last unopened for twelve months.

Tilden should be refrigerated and consumed within two to three weeks after opening.

It’s important to us to avoid artificial preservatives. Extending shelf-life without alcohol is difficult, and many brands turn to potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, or some other artificial ingredient to keep their non-alc drinks on the shelf after opening. We intentionally decided against that, trading post-opening shelf life in exchange for all-natural ingredients. And we’re proud.

Tilden is primarily designed as a social beverage to be enjoyed with friends. We envision you drinking it fairly quickly. Think of Tilden as pouring like a bottle of wine or champagne, and enjoy accordingly.

If you’re serving generous, 4oz cocktails over ice, there are six cocktails in each 750mL Tilden bottle. Enough for you and a few friends :)

‘Zero-proof’ means absolutely 0.00000% alcohol. ‘Non-alcoholic’ describes anything below 0.5% like non-alcoholic beers and wines… or a cup of orange juice or a bunch of fresh grapes. Because our cocktails are made with natural fruit ingredients, they contain a tiny amount of alcohol, less by percent than what you’d find in most bread. You could never in your wildest dreams get tipsy on Tilden.

Feeling a natural high? That’s a common effect from being alive, doing what you want, and loving the people around you. Lean in, my friend.

We crafted our cocktails to be ready-to-pour. We recommend shaking the bottle as our natural ingredients will settle. Pour over an ice cube into your favorite glassware and garnish with a cucumber ribbon (Lacewing) or an orange peel (Tandem).

Our cocktails are delicious on their own, but ice opens up the flavors to reveal additional layers of complexity and verve.

Tilden is about being present and being 100% you. This means leaving mind-altering ingredients like alcohol and adaptogens behind. Our main goal is to deliver a sophisticated, delicious, and complex tasting experience to the modern-day drinker. Some adaptogens can also react poorly with common medications, or are unsafe for people who are pregnant or nursing.

Our cocktails have no added sugar, and very low total sugar per serving (peep the label). We don't use grape or apple juice concentrate as sugar substitutes, either.

Instead of added sugar, we use allulose, a natural, plant-based sweetener found in dates, figs, and maple syrup. It’s non-nutritive, which means it doesn’t spike glucose levels and adds minimal calories. Allulose doesn’t have an aftertaste (we’re picky) and it’s not a sugar alcohol. We also use the tiniest (and we mean tiniest) bit of stevia, another all-natural, plant-based sweetener.

If you want to get nerdy, we like allulose especially because it’s a “bulking sweetener,” meaning it adds some of the same body and texture that you get from traditional sugar in a cocktail. It’s about 70% as sweet as regular sugar, and it doesn’t have the negative effects on digestion that artificial sweeteners can have. Purified stevia, on the other hand, is 250-300 times sweeter than sugar and has no bulking effect. We use about a speck per bottle (our actual measurements are more scientific) and get just a tiny sweetness boost without the stevia aftertaste Mariah disdains.

Both of our flavors are gluten free. Our malt extract (used in the Tandem) is itself gluten free.

In case you want to nerd out on that ingredient, the extraction process our supplier uses leaves fewer than 20/1,000,000 parts gluten, below the legal limit for gluten free. Beyond that, malt extract makes up <1% of our Tandem, making the max possible amount of gluten around 0.15 parts per million. You might consume more gluten taking a deep breath near a bakery.

If we've already sent you a tracking number, it means your box is in the hands of the shipping carrier and out of our control. To make any adjustment you would have to reach out directly to the carrier and request an address change.
